We believe design is a powerful medium for fostering dialogue and facilitating change. We approach each project collaboratively, ensuring that results are appropriate, thoughtful, and relevant. Our expertise lies in creating cohesive visual identities, compelling editorial projects, and sophisticated designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
Text Field Office was founded by Christopher Sleboda and Kathleen Sleboda (Coldwater Indian Band, Nlaka’pamux First Nation), who bring decades of experience from leading academic and cultural institutions. Our studio is committed to supporting Indigenous knowledge, language, and culture, recognizing the importance of spotlighting and celebrating these rich traditions. This holistic perspective, grounded in reciprocity, enriches all our projects and ensures they are respectful of heritage, community, and stakeholders.
Our design approach is rooted in applied research, coupled with a deep appreciation for typography, allowing us to develop powerful communications across a range of media platforms.
